My partner and I were staying in the home at that time. A few weeks after his funeral we began to experience unexplainable things.
We were setting up the Christmas tree and the t.v suddenly turned on itself, it was on the football game which my father in law loved. A little shaken by the experience my boyfriend changed the channel and turned the tv off. Within 2 minutes the t.v turned on and was back on the football game! Thinking something might be wrong with the t.v. my boyfriend unplugged it from the outlet and within 30 seconds the damn t.v. turned on to the football game with no power source!
The next thing that happened shocked us. My boyfriend and I were in the living room watching t.v one night on the table in front of us was a large heavy glass ashtray. While we were doing our thing my mother in law sat in the kitchen doing needlepoint. As we sat there enjoying our show the glass ashtray cracked and the two pieces separated a good three inches at this very same time I heard my mother in law scream she walked out of the kitchen to show us that BOTH lenses blew out of her frames.
My father in law died in the home's bathroom, the morning after the glass incident we walked into the bathroom to find everything (towel rack, pictures, and other decorative items all on the floor with no explanation how they got there.
The final experience we had was about a week later. There were photo prints hanging on the wall going up the stairs to the bedrooms. We awoke to find all three pictures laying on the floor easily 5 feet away from where they hung!
To this day we are certain it was the presence of my father in law upset with the thought of his early passing and trying to show us he was still there and not ready to move on. Only you can decide if you think its real we know it was, we lived it first hand ??
